Helen is a nurse and her role is currently centred in facilitating and researching healthcare communication skills training.  She has been facilitating communication skills training since 2006, alongside her clinical work in ICU Acute Medicine and Bereavement support. Helen also has experience of introducing and embedding SAGE & THYME within a Trauma Centre Foundation Trust.  

She leads the train-the-trainer programme for advanced communication skills trainers at the Maguire Communication and Leadership Academy at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and teaches communication skills as an MSc module   Helen is a lead trainer for SAGE & THYME and a SATFAC trainer.
